🌎 While we are an all-remote company and hire almost anywhere in the world, we have a preference for someone to reside in the following locations for this role. However, if you feel qualified, we welcome you to apply regardless of location. 

Please note: This role will require travel up to 10%.

Why this job is exciting

Sourcegraph is currently in search of a Digital Marketer who possesses a strong affinity for creating meaningful digital experiences and campaigns that excite and engage our developer audience. This person will play a pivotal role in user acquisition, managing our website, and working with our digital marketing consultants.  You will partner closely with demand generation and our PLG team to hit our user acquisition and retention goals. As an individual contributor, this role offers ample potential to build and lead a team as our Marketing organization continues to evolve and expand.

📅 Within one month, you will…

  • Improve key website metrics, including conversion rates, time on site, organic web conversions
  • Build a reporting framework for sourcegraph.com 
  • Become familiar with our existing digital marketing campaigns and begin making optimizations and improvements 

📅 Within three months, you will…

  • Have managed a complete website overhaul and hit initial website KPIs
  • Have increased acquisition and retention rates through digital ad campaigns, email marketing, and third party digital programs.

📅 Within six months, you will…

  • Have optimized a world-class developer-centric website
  • Optimized the digital marketing budget for 1) acquiring users and 2) generating leads who turn into pipeline for our sellers

📅 Within one year, you will…

  • Have developed a best-in-class digital marketing program measured on signups, PQLs, and contribution to marketing pipeline.

About you 

  • Technology B2B Marketing (developer marketing is a plus), typically obtained in 7+ years, with at least 4 years of experience owning the execution and strategy behind digital marketing and digital presence. 
  • MAP, email marketing,  and Salesforce experience required (HubSpot knowledge is a plus)
  • Experience owning a corporate website and managing as a product owner within a PLG business.
  • Must possess excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Innovative thinker, creative problem solver and effective at managing multiple ongoing marketing programs in a fast-paced, fluid environment
  • Capable of breaking down silos and engaging cross-functional teams, including working with product, growth, sales, and design teams.
  • Experience owning a sizeable digital marketing budget, supporting a PLG motion, and managing a website is required.

To determine your salary, we use a number of market and data-driven salary sources, along with your location zone, and target the high-end of the range to ensure we’re always paying above market regardless of where you live in the world.  

💰The target compensation for this role is: $106,800 USD - $157,147  USD (depending on level & location).
