We are looking for a thoughtful, well-rounded iOS Engineer (EII ) to join our team. You will play a leading role in our mobile engineering practice, implementing new features, improving performance, building beautiful user interfaces, and building reusable and scalable libraries and components. Above all, your work will change the way users experience the free tier.
\n- Build and maintain cutting-edge ad formats that enable listeners to experience Spotify for free - democratizing music and podcast listening.
- Collaborate closely with other engineers (iOS, Android, and backend), designers, product managers, and data scientists to develop solutions.
- Write clear, maintainable code that will scale across several projects and distributed development teams.
- Contribute to the architecture, platform, and best practices for the development of Advertising products on iOS.
- Become a valued member of an autonomous, cross-functional team.
- You know how to write readable, idiomatic, and maintainable Swift and are willing to follow already defined coding guidelines and workflows.
- You are experienced with a variety of iOS frameworks.
- You have a deep understanding of Cocoa design patterns and API design.
- You care about quality, and know what it means to ship high-quality code.
- You have a high level of understanding of end-to-end systems.
- You have released at least one app on the App Store or have a project in the works that you can tell us about.
- You value team success over personal success.
- You have at least 2+ years of iOS experience.
- This team is based in New York City, but we have members distributed throughout the Americas.

The United States base range for this position is $122,716 - $175,308, plus equity. The benefits available for this position include health insurance, six month paid parental leave, 401(k) retirement plan, monthly meal allowance, 23 paid days off, 13 paid flexible holidays. These ranges may be modified in the future.
