About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Senior Account Executive, Strategic Accounts to join our dynamic Sales team. Reporting directly to our VP of Sales, you will play a crucial role in driving new business for our content syndication products. As a full-lifecycle sales leader, you will own every stage of the sales process—from prospecting and pitching to negotiating and closing.
You will develop your own go-to-market strategy, targeting mid-market and enterprise clients across various marketing disciplines. Your expertise in building relationships with key decision-makers and your ability to execute high-impact sales strategies will be critical to your success. In this role, you will also work closely with Revenue leadership to optimize sales processes and contribute to a high-performing sales culture.

What You’ll Do
Lead the entire sales cycle, from initial outreach and pitching to negotiation, closing, and renewal.
Identify high-value prospects and build relationships with key decision-makers across mid-market and enterprise organizations.
Develop and implement a strategic sales plan, identifying key enterprise prospects and executing outbound and inbound engagement strategies.
Lead consultative sales conversations with senior marketing executives, demonstrating Stacker’s ability to solve content distribution and audience engagement challenges.
Communicate Stacker’s value proposition effectively, showcasing our unique offerings to potential clients.
Collaborate closely with Account Management and Newsroom teams to ensure seamless onboarding and client success.
Proactively contribute to the development of scalable sales strategies and improve operational efficiencies.
Utilize tools like HubSpot, Apollo and SalesNav to manage a healthy and active sales pipeline.
Analyze sales data to refine strategies, forecast growth, and exceed revenue targets.
What We’re Looking For
+4 years of experience in a closing sales role - preferably in martech, adtech, B2B SaaS, or media.
Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales quotas, with demonstrated success in a full-cycle sales role.
Solid understanding of digital marketing, PR, content, SEO, and earned media.
Ability to engage with senior executives, confidently leading sales conversations with CMOs, VPs of Marketing, and PR leaders.
Consultative sales approach, with the ability to deeply understand client needs and propose tailored solutions.
Strong business acumen, with the ability to navigate complex buyer journeys and procurement processes.
Data-driven mindset, leveraging insights to create compelling sales narratives and business cases.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence senior stakeholders.
Highly organized, with a meticulous attention to detail and a proactive, self-starting approach.
Passionate about digital media/marketing or journalism.
