The Staff Accountant will be an integral part of building out our clinical operations and finance functions. They will support the development intercompany accounting, ensure cash collections match up to receivables, oversee, control, and monitor revenue cash flow, support audits, and reconcile and review accounts receivable. They will assist with medical billing and claims, identify and coordinate access to Medicaid, Medicare and commercial health care insurance, and other programs and benefits. This is a full-time position.
\n- Manage the day to day booking and management of cash flow across multiple entities, including booking cross entity staffing and related payments
- Perform periodic audits and generate audit reports and reconcile and review accounts receivable
- Assist the Revenue Cycle Manager with medical billing and claims audits, to ensure proper reconciliation of outstanding accounts receivable
- Support the development of budget and budget narrative of investor funding as directed by the CFO.
- Develop and maintain close out procedures and reports
- Other duties as assigned
- Well organized, self-starter who is interested in fast growing companies with room for growth and leadership
- Associate or Bachelor degree in Accounting
- Strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
- Knowledge of statutory accounting principles
- Supervisory experience
- Experience with intercompany accounting and healthcare services - preferred not required
- Background in credentialing, commercial billing, or insurance -preferred not required
