Job Description
The Prosper Group is seeking a Sales Director to build new profitable relationships, focusing on the direct sale– of owned media production, promotion, and monetization services, along with supporting the agency’s efforts to generate qualified opportunities for corporate marketing and advertising service offerings.
Successful candidates for this role will demonstrate both the ability, and commitment to: building an individual business plan, - the execution of supporting tactics and strategies servant leadership, sound judgement and a culture of measurement.
A successful Sales Director will:
- Build and manage a sustainable new business pipeline, focusing directly on podcasts that match the ideal client profile for the ReachRight Network.
- Manage inbound leads for the purchase of network ad inventory and execute targeted outbound sales activities for the sales of network ad inventory.
- Manage inbound lead qualification and execute targeted outbound sales activities to aide in the development of a pipeline of qualified opportunities for The Liberty Partnership / Liberty Spenders program.
- Develop and grow partner referral relationships.
- Execute post-sale functions including, but not limited to: setting and managing client expectations, upsells and referral opportunities, , all revenue-related functions including increasing budget and scope discussions, and ensuring a high level of client satisfaction throughout their entire lifecycle.
- Commit to continued professional development in professional sales, as well as the agencies core services ( digital advertising, marketing, and podcasting).
- Demonstrate the ability to accurately forecast revenue and tell the story of your work through specified metrics by consistently leveraging the company’s CRM to log activities and achieve both efficiency and transparency.
Qualifications
- Proactivity: Someone who doesn’t wait for opportunities but creates them.
- Resilience: Sales can be tough; this person needs to be persistent and bounce back from setbacks.
- Team Player: Collaboration with marketing, product development, and customer support teams to ensure a seamless client experience.
- Two to five years of sales experience in an agency setting. Preference given to those with marketing and advertising sales, and those that can demonstrate consistent growth in previous roles.
- Previous experience utilizing a CRM to manage their sales workflow. Preference given to HubSpot experience.
- Strong understanding of corporate marketing best practices, the podcasting industry, and online advertising.
- A desire to participate in the planning, strategy, and execution phases of project work.
- Strong time management skills and the ability to meet tight deadlines, adapt quickly to changing priorities, and maintain consistency in a fast-paced work environment.
- Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills with an ability to clearly convey concepts to decision makers, internal team members, and vendor-partners

This position can be remote. Preference is given to those in the Indianapolis, IN area.
Compensation will be commensurate with experience and qualifications.
