We are looking for a Business Analyst to join ThreatConnect's Cyber Risk Quantification product. About The Job
ThreatConnect Risk Quantifier (RQ) allows enterprises to quantify cyber risk in financial terms effectively. We step in and make a real impact in the security landscape by working on the industry's only platform for automated, data-driven, and machine-learning-powered cyber risk quantification. Acting as a bridge between product management and engineering, business analysts play an essential role. You will be responsible for uncovering and unpacking software requirements for our industry-leading cybersecurity innovations and communicating them comprehensively and effectively to our engineering teams.

- Work closely with stakeholders, developers, and the product manager to ensure that the business requirements are understood and incorporated into the technical design and development
- Drive discussions with the Product Owner and/or business partners to understand the process and the problem, and then brainstorm solution scenarios
- Actively engage the Product Owner or business SME to translate solution needs into actionable user stories
- Facilitate and support product backlog management
- Partner with Product Owners/SMEs to define & refine acceptance criteria
- Create user stories and acceptance criteria and partner with developers on reviewing for understanding and scoring
- Negotiate with product owners/ business experts on alternative solutions
- Write test cases for user stories
- Create designs for use by the user experience team
- Analyze and interpret complex business requirements and translate them into a technical solution approach and implementation roadmap

- JIRA or other process-management tools
- Experience writing detailed technical requirements
- Demonstrated ability to translate user needs into technical solutions
- Experience in Agile software development methodologies
- Experience working on a multi-customer product
- Strong understanding of technical concepts and tools relevant to programming, databases, data structures, and SDLC
- Strong understanding of capital markets concepts, products, and terms
- 2+ years as a Business Analyst
- Experience creating designs for use in development
- Good written, verbal, and presentation skills in Romanian and English
- Passionate about cybersecurity and/or cybersecurity tools
- Experience as a Business Analyst in the cybersecurity space
- Understandment of cyber security tools such as SIEM, EDR, NDR, XDR, Vulnerability Management, Firewalls, IDPS, Ticketing, Identity Access Management products, Security Operations, Incident Response, and Threat Intelligence use cases and processes
- Experience working with teams in different time zones and different cultures
