Job Summary
The Engineering Manager plays a crucial role in leading a team of engineers to design, develop, and deliver enterprise-grade applications using Microsoft technologies. This role balances technical leadership with people management, ensuring high-quality software development while fostering a strong engineering culture. The ideal candidate has extensive experience with the .NET ecosystem (C#, ASP.NET Core, SQL Server, Azure) and a proven track record of leading Agile teams, implementing cloud-native solutions, and driving technical excellence. Strong communication and leadership skills are essential for collaboration with stakeholders and guiding teams toward successful project execution.
Responsibilities
Lead, mentor, and grow a team of engineers, ensuring a high-performing, collaborative culture.
Oversee the end-to-end software development lifecycle, from planning to deployment.
Work closely with product managers and business stakeholders to align technical solutions with business needs.
Provide technical guidance on architecture, code quality, and best practices.
Manage project scope, timelines, and deliverables while maintaining high development standards.
Implement Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban) and DevOps best practices to optimize workflows.
Drive the development of cloud-based solutions on Microsoft Azure.
Ensure security, compliance, and performance of applications following industry best practices.
Qualifications and Job Requirements
13+ years of experience in software development, with 3+ years in an engineering management role.
Expertise in C#, ASP.NET Core, SQL Server, Entity Framework, and Azure services.
Proven experience delivering enterprise applications with a strong understanding of software architecture.
Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, and cloud-native development.
Familiarity with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and microservices architecture.
Strong leadership, decision-making, and communication skills.
