About the Role
Our client, a leading medical device manufacturing company specialising in medical imaging, based in Japan, is seeking a talented songwriter to create an original theme song for an upcoming corporate event. The ideal candidate will have experience in Japanese pop music composition and lyric writing. This project offers the opportunity to work with a renowned company in crafting a memorable and catchy tune that represents their brand and event.
Responsibilities
- Compose an original melody in the Japanese pop style for the company's event theme song
- Write engaging and appropriate lyrics in Japanese that align with the company's image and event theme
- Collaborate with company representatives to understand their vision and incorporate feedback
- Create a demo recording of the song for review and approval
- Proven experience as a mid to senior level songwriter, particularly in Japanese pop music
- Strong portfolio showcasing original compositions and lyrics
- Proficiency in music composition software and recording techniques
- Ability to create catchy, memorable melodies suitable for corporate events
