About the Role
Our client is seeking a skilled Video Editor to join their team for an entertainment-focused YouTube gaming series. The project centers around horror and tactical gaming content, with an emphasis on creating engaging, humorous edits that highlight player interactions and memorable moments.
Responsibilities:
- Edit raw gaming footage into polished, entertaining content
- Create dynamic cuts and transitions that enhance comedic timing
- Add sound effects, music, and visual effects to amplify entertainment value
- Implement gaming-specific overlays and animations
- Sync audio from multiple sources (gameplay and commentary)
- 2+ years of experience in video editing, preferably with gaming content
- Proficiency in professional video editing software (Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, or similar)
- Understanding of YouTube gaming content trends and styles
- Experience with comedy-focused editing and timing
- Knowledge of gaming culture and terminology
- Ability to maintain consistent branding and style
