About the Role
A full-time creative director with a growing business on the side is starting a podcast and is seeking a creative video editor to produce engaging short-form content from long-form podcast recordings. The role focuses on creating compelling highlight clips for YouTube and Instagram, requiring both technical expertise and strong storytelling abilities.
Please note, this project requires high-level English proficiency.
Output per week:
- 2 short YouTube video edits (min. 2 mins., max. 10 mins.)
- 2 Instagram Reels edited with stock footage and captions (30-45 secs.)
Total out per month: 8 Short YouTube videos; 8 Instagram Reels
- Strong English language proficiency
- Proven video editing experience
- Understanding of narrative structure
- Social media content creation experience
- Proficiency in major editing software (Premiere Pro, Final Cut, or DaVinci Resolve)
- Ability to work independently
- Strong time management skills
- Creative storytelling ability
