About the Role
Our client, a growing and event company is seeking a talented mid-level freelance video editor to join their team on a part-time, remote basis. The ideal candidate will create engaging Instagram reels that capture the essence of weddings and events, with a focus on behind-the-scenes footage. This position offers the opportunity for long-term collaboration with the company.
Responsibilities:
- Edit and produce high-quality Instagram reels featuring behind-the-scenes footage from weddings and events
- Maintain a consistent style and tone that aligns with the company's brand and existing content
- Meet a 72-hour turnaround time for each project
- Collaborate with the team to understand project requirements and incorporate feedback
- Proven experience in video editing, preferably in the wedding or event industry
- Strong understanding of Instagram content creation, particularly reels
- Proficiency in video editing software
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines consistently
- Excellent eye for detail and ability to capture the essence of events through video
