As the Director of Human Resources at Vantage, you will play a critical leadership role in shaping and executing our HR strategy to support the company’s growth and success. This strategic role encompasses overseeing all aspects of HR, including talent acquisition, employee relations, performance management, talent development, total rewards, compliance, and fostering an inclusive company culture. You will work closely with the executive team and business leaders to align HR initiatives with business goals, drive employee engagement, and ensure Vantage remains a great place to work. This position requires a strategic thinker and seasoned HR professional with a hands-on approach, a passion for people, and the ability to lead a high-performing HR team.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic HR Leadership:
Develop and execute a comprehensive HR strategy that aligns with Vantage’s business objectives and growth plans.
Act as a trusted advisor to the executive leadership team on all people-related matters, including organizational design, workforce planning, and succession planning.
Lead and mentor the HR team to ensure the successful implementation of HR programs and initiatives.
Talent Management:
Oversee the development and execution of strategies to attract and retain top talent.
Partner with leaders to identify talent gaps and implement workforce planning strategies.
Ensure effective onboarding and employee retention strategies are in place.
Performance Management and Development:
Design and oversee performance management processes, including goal setting, feedback, and development plans.
Champion learning and development initiatives to enhance employee skills, leadership capabilities, and career growth opportunities.
Total Rewards:
Oversee the design and administration of competitive compensation and benefits programs.
Regularly evaluate total rewards programs to ensure alignment with market trends and company strategy.
Employee Relations and Engagement:
Foster a positive employee relations environment by addressing employee concerns, resolving conflicts, and promoting open communication.
Drive employee engagement initiatives to enhance workplace culture and morale.
Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI):
Lead efforts to build and maintain a diverse, equitable, and inclusive workplace.
Partner with leadership to embed DEI principles into all aspects of the employee lifecycle.
HR Compliance and Operations:
Ensure compliance with employment laws, regulations, and company policies.
Oversee the maintenance of accurate employee records and the management of the HR Information System (HRIS).
Develop and implement HR policies and procedures to ensure operational excellence.
Experience:
10+ years of progressive HR experience, including leadership roles, preferably in a fast-paced startup or tech environment.
Proven track record of leading strategic HR initiatives and driving organizational change.
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. A Master’s degree or HR certification (e.g., SHRM-SCP, SPHR) is highly desirable.
Skills:
Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build trusted relationships at all levels of the organization.
Strong leadership and team management capabilities, with a focus on developing high-performing teams.
Deep knowledge of HR best practices, employment laws, and industry trends.
Experience with HR data analytics and the ability to use data to drive decision-making.
Proficiency with HRIS systems and other HR-related tools.
Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills.
Excellent project management and organizational skills.
