What We're Looking For
In this role, you will leverage your expertise in various legal domains to provide comprehensive counsel on corporate and commercial matters. You will independently negotiate, draft, and review a wide range of commercial agreements, including software licenses and strategic intercompany contracts.
Key Responsibilities
Within your role you will have different aspects on your day-to-day responsibilities including:
Legal Expertise: developed expertise in multiple areas of law to counsel internal clients on business and legal - corporate and commercial matters.
Contract Negotiation: independently negotiate, draft, and review various commercial agreements, including, software licenses, and strategic intercompany agreements.
Business Support: Provide legal and business solutions to payment, product development, HR teams, with a focus on UE and US.
Risk Mitigation: Identify, evaluate, and mitigate business and legal risks related to new products and initiatives.
Project management: Planning and managing complex projects in close cooperation with other departments and stakeholders (including cross border transactions, global hiring process, launching new products, new markets entry).
Stakeholder engagement:: Work closely with leaders from other teams such as product, marketing, payments, finance, HR on initiatives and projects across multiple regions and business areas.
Required skills
Solicitor qualified in UE
Minimum of 5 years in an international corporate environment with a focus on corporate/commercial/M&A matters
Experience of leading international projects
Experience gained in top law firms or in an in-house role in multinational companies
Fluency in English - min. C1 (prerequisite - working in English)
Ability to provide expert advice to the company and management on corporate & commercial matters in a business-centric and collaborative manner.
An exceptional communicator and confident negotiator with strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to influence others and explain complex concepts to non-lawyer team members.
