MAIN PURPOSE OF ROLE
The Principal Localization Product Manager is a strategic and cross-functional leadership position. This role requires ownership and responsibility for innovative solutions in multilingual content management within our SaaS platform. As the Principal Product Manager, you will bridge the gap between the stakeholders and the development team, translating business requirements into product requirements. Success depends on your deep understanding of our customers' marketing ops journey and the mar tech platforms commonly used, the Welocalize business, and the impact of data-driven decisions. Your strong desire to achieve our end clients' business outcomes is essential.
You will report into an established Product organization that has a record of excellence and established best practices.
\n- Contribute to the 1-3 year strategy for our SaaS platform and its AI-driven services.
- Partner with the internal teams to drive advanced solutions and new approaches to help support the client outcomes.
- Deeply understand and advocate for our clients' business outcomes and needs.
- Evangelize the client perspective to the development team, ensuring they understand the end goals and context of their work.
- Maintain and champion a product vision, strategy, and roadmap that aligns with client success and company goals.
- Drive and own roadmaps consisting of themes and epics, ensuring alignment with client needs and business objectives.
- Work with stakeholders to identify and validate product features and capabilities.
- Develop and execute a plan to engage with stakeholders regularly to capture all product needs.
- Ensure requirements slated for development are internally consistent, well-described, and granular enough for implementation.
- Collaborate with UX/UI designers to ensure the software is clean, simple, usable, and consistent.
- Involve the development team in the product vision, share credit for successes, and create consensus-based schedules.
- During development, ensure the team understands the goal of each feature and that the implementation meets the spirit of the requirement.
- Demonstrate technology-based products and services for customers and Sales teams.

- Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from a college or university in related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 5+ years of relevant work experience in localization/globalization services and/or software product management.
- Proven track record in building, deploying, and growing usage of B2B SaaS products/platforms.
- Demonstrated ability to work with senior executives, stakeholders, and users to define and manage product scope, strategy, and requirements.
- Strong quantitative skills demonstrated through data-driven decision making.
- Experience in fast-paced, growing corporate environments.
- Strong practical knowledge of MS Office and Atlassian tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence).
- Understanding of Lean and Agile methodologies.
- Self-motivated with critical attention to detail, deadlines, and reporting.
- Enjoys researching and strategic thinking, with strong planning and execution capabilities.
