About the Opportunity
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Sustainability Analyst Intern to support our efforts in mapping the Higg Facility Environmental Module (FEM) to the European Sustainability Reporting Standards (ESRS) requirements over the span of 4 to 8 weeks. This role will involve research, data analysis, and collaboration with various departments to ensure accurate and comprehensive sustainability reporting.
What You'll Do
Research and Analysis:
Conduct thorough research on Higg FEM and ESRS reporting standards.
Analyze the alignment between Higg FEM indicators and ESRS requirements.
Identify gaps and overlaps in reporting requirements.
Reporting and Documentation:
Assist in preparing detailed reports and presentations on the mapping of Higg FEM to ESRS.
Document processes, methodologies, and findings for internal reference.
Collaboration and Communication:
Work closely with the Sustainability Manager and other team members to gather necessary information.
Communicate findings and recommendations effectively to stakeholders
Participate in meetings and contribute to discussions on sustainability initiatives.
Continuous Improvement:
Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in sustainability reporting.
Suggest improvements to existing processes and tools for better data management and reporting.
We'd Like to See
Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a degree program in Environmental Science, Sustainability, Business, or a related field.
Strong analytical and research skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Detail-oriented with a strong commitment to accuracy.
Knowledge of sustainability reporting frameworks (Higg FEM, ESRS) is a plus.
