Description
As the Director, Performance Marketing, you will be responsible for developing and executing effective performance marketing strategies to drive customer acquisition, engagement, and retention. You will lead a team of 2-3 performance marketing professionals and work closely with other departments to ensure alignment with the company's overall marketing goals. This person will report directly to the SVP of Marketing.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive performance marketing strategies that align with the company's business objectives.
- Manage and optimize performance marketing campaigns across various channels, including paid search, social media advertising, display advertising, third-party publications, direct mail and potential affiliate marketing.
- Track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of marketing campaigns and make recommendations on how to prioritize investment
- Identify and test new marketing channels and tactics to drive growth and improve ROI.
- Lead a team of performance marketing professionals, providing guidance, mentorship, and training.
- Collaborate with other marketing teams, such as brand marketing and content marketing, to ensure a cohesive and effective marketing strategy.
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices in performance marketing.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, or a related field.
- 7+ years of experience in performance marketing, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
- Proven track record of driving customer acquisition, engagement, and retention through performance marketing.
- Strong understanding of paid search, social media advertising, display advertising, email marketing, and affiliate marketing.
- A metrics-driven individual with a consistent track record of driving ROI and optimizing platforms
- Experience with various marketing automation tools and analytics platforms.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong leadership and management skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- MBA or other advanced degree.
- Familiarity with data-driven marketing and attribution modeling.
- Experience with A/B testing and optimization.
- Strong understanding of customer journey mapping and marketing funnel analysis.
