Zapier is looking for a Sales Manager to join the Sales and Customer Success org at Zapier. The sales team today serves customers as they evaluate and buy Zapier’s upmarket offers, through being a dedicated sales point-of-contact. We’re looking to build a sales motion that works in harmony with our product-led growth model - this means finding meaningful ways to help our upmarket customers understand what’s possible across the customer journey of evaluating and adopting Zapier. Today, we have an inbound sales motion, but we’re also experimenting with ways to proactively engage with existing customers to drive expansion. Ultimately, success here looks like teams and organizations buying and scaling their automation usage through one of Zapier’s upmarket products.

About You
5+ years in a customer-facing role (sales, sales engineering, or account management)
1-3+ years of relevant experience managing direct reports
Strong track record of achieving sales targets consistently across teams and individually
You have strong recognized leadership skills with a focus on coaching/enablement, positive mindsets, collaboration, and the ability to inspire a team of direct reports
Examples of standing up new programs/motions through an experimental mindset - you know how to define metrics for success, create playbooks, and iterate based on learnings to accelerate growth
You've worked cross functionally to drive feedback loops and align on priorities across Product, Marketing, Data, and Customer Success
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Things you’ll do
Coach and enable a team to up-level their skills and accelerate revenue growth across your team
Hire, mentor, and lead a world class sales team
Provide an accurate forecast through deal reviews, inspection and getting in the details with reps and customers.
Develop, experiment, and optimize initiatives to support the customer journey and accelerate revenue for Zapier.
Identify and make recommendations for improvement in the areas of Process, Efficiency, and Productivity.
