We are seeking an experienced Quality Assurance (QA) Engineer to join our dynamic team. The QA Engineer will play a crucial role in ensuring the highest quality standards for our products and services. This position requires a strong background in QA methodologies, exceptional leadership skills, and a deep commitment to delivering excellence.
Reports to: Head of Engineering
Tech Stack: NodeJS, MongoDB, Javascript
Key Responsibilities:
1. Quality Assurance Strategy: Develop and implement a comprehensive QA strategy to maintain and improve product quality.
2. Team Leadership: Manage and lead a team of QA professionals, providing guidance, mentorship, and support to ensure their success and professional growth.
3. Quality Standards: Establish and maintain quality standards and processes that align with industry best practices and regulatory requirements.
4. Test Planning and Execution: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create test plans, design test cases, and execute testing activities to identify defects and ensure product stability.
5. Continuous Improvement: Drive continuous improvement efforts by identifying areas for enhancement within the QA process, tools, and methodologies.
6. Risk Assessment: Identify and assess project risks, develop mitigation strategies, and proactively address potential issues that may impact product quality.
7. Metrics and Reporting: Develop and maintain key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure and report on the effectiveness of the QA process, and regularly communicate results to stakeholders.
8. Vendor Management: Collaborate with external vendors or third-party QA teams when necessary to ensure product quality.
9. Regulatory Compliance: Ensure that products adhere to industry-specific regulations and standards, as applicable.
10. Training and Development: Promote a culture of learning and growth within the QA team, providing training and development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. Master's degree is a plus.
- Proven experience in QA engineering, with a minimum of 3 years.
- At least 3 years of experience with Selenium or Postman
- Strong knowledge of QA methodologies, tools, and best practices.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Exceptional English communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
- Currently living in Latin America.
- Work remotely Monday - Friday, 40 hours a week (no weekends)
