About the role
As a part of the Implementation Team, the Project Manager will lead projects to deliver Change across our sopp+sopp, Motor Repair Network, Activate Parts and Activate Accident Repair brands. The Project Manager will successfully deliver a diverse range of change objectives and will deliver across a variety of functions within the AGL Group. Changes could cover objectives relating to Product, Regulation, Technology, Client Implementation, Process and Automation, enabling the business to adapt and grow.
A seamless experience is paramount for our internal stakeholders and our clients, and the Project Manager will ensure our organisation is supported, engaged, and operationally ready to go live. The Project Manager will lead the project within the Change Framework, to ensure our technology, services and processes meet client and business needs on time, within scope and at the highest quality.
Key responsibilities
Lead and manage Change Projects across the AGL Group brands, and Client Implementation Projects for our MRN (Motor Repair Network) brandDevelop and own project plans, roadmaps, RAID logs, project communications and status reportingWork with our internal teams to identify benefits, business needs, client and internal requirements, and solutions through Discovery and Design phasesPartner with IT where system development is requiredWork with internal teams to updates process and integrate Change into the organisation, ensuring we are operationally readyOversee impact analysis of proposed changes to existing systems and processesOversee testing to ensure the solution is delivered to the highest qualityOwn project planning and manage, track and drive project tasks to completionOwn RAID identification and tracking, looking for opportunities to de-risk and identifying where escalation is requiredActively identify and engage stakeholders to build relationships and drive successLead Project Working Group meetings and adhere to the Implementation & Change Frameworks to enable communications and governancePlan and organise training and communications to enable operational readiness in advance of going live to drive engagement and the maximisation of benefitsCollaborate across the Implementation Team throughout the lifecycle of the project and support each other through delivery Lead retrospective reviews with all stakeholders to understand where the Project was most effective and identify areas to improveSupport the AGL brands and the Head of Implementation with client related Implementation Projects and Change Projects as requiredHybrid working with 3+ days in the Halifax office
Skills and experience
Project Management experience covering delivery over multiple functional areas including operations, contact centre, technology, clients 5+ years desiredStrong Project Management skills and ability to use a variety of planning and delivery techniques Strong communication skills and able to present roadmaps and plans to clients, senior managers and internal teams to ensure stakeholders buy into the Change Project and are part of the journeyGood Microsoft Office skills (especially Excel, Word, PowerPoint) Collaborative team working approach and ability to build strong relationships both in person and remoteHardworking and can-do attitude, able to work in a fast-paced environment over multiple Change projects concurrentlyAble to work under minimal direction in line with a Change Lifecycle and Implementation FrameworkLogical, analytical, with strong attention to detail and problem-solving skillsSolution-orientated and always looking to deliver for our clients and internal stakeholdersAbility to demonstrate Project Management over a diverse range of Change objectives and a variety of functions such as technology, product, operations and contact centre teams is essentialExperience of working with clients and prospective clients is essential Experience of implementation/onboarding new clients and changing services to existing clients in a project environment is preferredAccident Management industry experience desired but not essential
