Job Title: Financial Controller
Schedule: 5 days a week/ Full-time
Salary Budget: $40,000-$50,000 USD/annually
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Financial Controller to join our eCommerce company. As the Financial Controller, you will play a critical role in ensuring consistent corporate financial strategy and maintaining the financial health of the organization. You will be responsible for managing and allocating accounts, financial statements, and tax data, as well as acting as the primary point of contact for banks, auditors, and tax authorities.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Manage the day-to-day company accounts, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger
- Assist in financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes
- Oversee cash flow management to ensure optimal utilization of funds
- Ensure compliance with government regulations and tax laws
- Coordinate with external auditors during financial audits
- Act as the main point of contact for banking relationships and financial institutions
- Special projects and tasks as directed
Requirements
- At Least 5 years of work experience as an accountant
- Proven experience as a Financial Controller or similar role
- Experience with NetSuite and SPS Commerce
- Advanced Excel skills
- Strong knowledge of financial accounting principles and concepts (U.S. GAAP)
- Experience with Ecommerce is a plus
- Ability to communicate at all levels
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Prioritization and time management
