About the role:
We are looking for a strategic and creative YouTube Media Buyer to manage and optimize our advertising campaigns on YouTube. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in running successful YouTube campaigns, with a strong understanding of video advertising, audience targeting, and performance optimization. This role requires a balance of creativity and analytical skills to ensure our ads resonate with viewers and drive conversions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Campaign Strategy: Develop and implement YouTube advertising strategies that align with marketing objectives and target audience.
- Ad Buying: Manage the full cycle of media buying on YouTube, including budgeting, bidding, and optimizing ad placements to achieve the best possible ROI.
- Creative Collaboration: Work closely with the creative team to develop compelling video ads that capture the essence of the brand and engage YouTube viewers.
- Performance Monitoring: Continuously monitor and analyze campaign performance using YouTube’s analytics tools, making data-driven adjustments to improve results.
- Audience Targeting: Utilize YouTube’s advanced targeting features to reach specific demographics, interests, and behaviors, ensuring our ads reach the right audience.
- A/B Testing: Conduct A/B testing on various ad elements, including video creatives, thumbnails, and targeting strategies, to identify the most effective approaches.
- Budget Management: Manage campaign budgets efficiently, ensuring the best allocation of resources to maximize returns while staying within financial limits.
- Reporting: Generate comprehensive reports on campaign performance, providing key insights and actionable recommendations for future campaigns.
- Trend Analysis: Stay updated on the latest trends, tools, and best practices in YouTube advertising to ensure our campaigns remain competitive and effective.
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in media buying, with a focus on YouTube or video advertising.
- Platform Expertise: Deep understanding of YouTube’s advertising platform, including TrueView, Bumper ads, and other ad formats.
- Creative Insight: Ability to collaborate with creative teams to produce engaging video content that aligns with brand messaging and resonates with viewers.
- Analytical Skills: Strong data analysis skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets and translate insights into actionable strategies.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work effectively across departments.
- Adaptability: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and quickly adapt to changes in the digital advertising landscape.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with other video platforms such as TikTok, Meta (Facebook/Instagram), or Snapchat.
- Familiarity with e-commerce and DTC (Direct-to-Consumer) marketing strategies.
- Experience in the fashion or apparel industry is a plus.
- Certification in YouTube Advertising or related fields.
