Compensation
Starting Base Salary: $95,000 yearly

Who We’re Looking For
The Ecommerce Merchandising and Curation Manager will be responsible for enhancing the buyer experience on our platform, driving sales and optimizing product visibility. Your role involves analyzing sales data and music consumer trends to curate compelling product shopping experiences that appeal to vinyl record enthusiasts globally. The role focuses on developing and executing an effective merchandising strategy to promote high-demand inventory, manage promotions, and oversee merchandising programs.
What You’ll Accomplish

- Oversee Merchandising Programs: Manage and refine content across key merchandising pages, ensuring content relevancy and engaging layouts.
- Promotion Management: Plan and execute sales and promotions based on an annual calendar, coordinating efforts across teams to maximize campaign impact.
- Inventory Curation: Identify and promote inventory with high sales potential, considering seller sourcing, market demand, and seasonal trends.
- Campaign Management: Set clear deadlines, ensuring cross-functional teams stay aligned and campaigns launch successfully.
- Data Analysis: Work with the Marketing Research Strategy Specialist and utilize tools such as Metabase, Google Analytics, Looker, and spreadsheets to analyze data, informing merchandising decisions, optimizing page performance, and identifying areas for improvement.
- Reporting: Develop and manage comprehensive reports to track and analyze campaign performance, making adjustments as necessary.
- Seller Promotion: Collaborate with the Seller Engagement Lead to spotlight sellers as part of the broader merchandising strategy.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with channel marketers to optimize traffic to key merchandising pages, collaborate with the content team to use effective communication to buyers and partner with product and engineering squads to identify and leverage merchandising opportunities for web and mobile.
- Other duties as assigned.
What You’ll Contribute
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, E-commerce, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in e-commerce merchandising, preferably within a two-sided marketplace or similar platform.
- Strong analytical skills with hands-on experience in data tools such as Metabase, Google Analytics, and Looker.
- Proven track record in managing campaigns including promotions and merchandising initiatives that drive sales and enhance user experience.
- Demonstrated ability to manage and lead projects to completion and on-time
- Strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively promote inventory and engage with sellers.
- Attention to detail to continuously refine and add content to the merchandising page program.
- Understanding of key web and mobile platforms to leverage merchandising opportunities effectively.
- Can leverage content management systems to create campaigns without needing engineering involvement. WordPress preferred.
- Preferred Experience
- Ability to use data querying skills with SQL.
- Understanding of the music industry is preferred.
