Overview:
Our client is a leading skincare brand dedicated to delivering high-quality products that enhance beauty and wellness. They are seeking a detail-oriented Cost Accounting Specialist to manage their Bill of Materials (BOM) processes and ensure compliance with company standards and guidelines
Key Responsibilities:
- Item Part Numbers: Create item part numbers based on requests to ensure accurate inventory management and tracking.
- Bill of Materials (BOM): Develop and maintain comprehensive BOMs, including detailed filling and assembly instructions.
- Revision Management: Manage all revisions and deviations associated with BOMs and jobs, ensuring compliance with company Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) guidelines.
- Approval Process: Ensure that all BOMs are reviewed and approved by relevant departments in accordance with company SOP and GMP requirements.
- Cost Verification: Collaborate with the Cost Accounting Specialist to verify the costed BOM, ensuring accuracy in cost estimation.
- Sales Order Matching: Verify that all jobs created align with corresponding sales orders, maintaining accuracy and consistency in production.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Proven experience in cost accounting or BOM management within a manufacturing environment.
- Strong understanding of GMP and SOP guidelines.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Proficient in NetSuite; experience with other ERP systems is a plus.
- Effective communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across departments.
- NetSuite Experience: Utilize NetSuite for managing BOM processes and documentation; proficiency in NetSuite is required.
- ERP Systems Knowledge: Familiarity with blended ERP systems is preferred to enhance overall process efficiency.
- Manufacturing Background: Leverage previous experience in BOM manufacturing to ensure best practices are followed.
