Aledade is looking for an outgoing and enthusiastic legal professional to join its growing legal department. As a member of the legal team, you will work side-by-side with our legal operations director to assist with the various needs and initiatives within the legal department and partnering teams.
\n- Partners with Employment and Litigation teams to processes legal documents such as attorney demands, EEOC claims, bankruptcy, subpoenas and court orders
- Manages pre-litigation and litigation matters, including drafting, circulating and auditing legal holds, managing document collection and review and maintaining case files
- Manages full end to end process for new vendor onboarding and engagements, including: accruals, billing, budgeting, and the processing of legal invoices in SimpleLegal
- Independently manages relationships with outside counsel and insurance carriers
- Creates, maintains, and updates internal processes and playbooks
- Assists with contract lifecycle management efforts
- Processes legal requests from business partners
- Coordinates with other internal legal teams on operational and other cross-functional issues, including the People, Finance, IT, Corporate, Commercial, Compliance, and Privacy teams
- Manage all other responsibilities, duties, functions, and activities as assigned
- 6+ years progressive working experience in legal field
- Experience with case management, litigation and eDiscovery
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to be highly organized, detail-oriented, and work on multiple projects
- Resourceful self-starter with a positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Ability to work independently, balancing competing priorities
- Willingness to roll your sleeves up and take on additional projects as necessary
- Experience with using office software and services such as Google Drive, Docs, Sheets, and Slides, Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, Adobe, JIRA, Box
