Summary of Role & Key Responsibilities
The Client Discovery Team acts as the “front door” of Anthesis and has a unique viewpoint across all service lines. You would receive exposure to all of the unique services that Anthesis offers such as circular revenue models, human rights & social impact, Net Zero strategy, water stewardship, ESG program design and implementation, and carbon markets. The core responsibility of Client Discovery is to qualify inbound leads and identify prospective clients as part of the critical initial stage of our business development process. This includes undertaking timely research on new leads, tracking lead data in our CRM, supporting proposal and RFP processes, engaging with senior executive and technical talent withing our business and client, building and maintaining useful resources and networks to make the business development process more efficient and effective. The role requires collaborative coordination, diligence and the willingness to work across global time zones with Anthesis colleagues working around the world.
Key Responsibilities:
Inbound-Lead Qualification:
- Qualify inbound leads and prospect potential new business.
- Maintain CRM data, tracking business development activity.
- Collaborate with consultants throughout the BD process via notetaking, coordination, scheduling, and proposal support.
Proposal & RFP Support:
- Support consultants with proposal writing, coordination, and design. In many cases, the proposals require coordination spanning multiple consultant teams.
- Work with Marketing and consultant SMEs to develop credential and case study material for proposals.
New Business:
- Research to identify new clients and sectors which Anthesis can support in delivering sustainable performance.
- Supporting consultants with meeting research and preparation in order to best prepare them to engage with the client and present our unique range of sustainability solutions to senior decision makers.
Key Requirements & Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
Experience and interests:
- Education and experience in Sustainability, Marketing or Sales.
- Experience working to deadlines whilst collaborating with and project managing diverse teams.
- Passion for corporate sustainability, business development, and sales operations.
Skills:
- Familiarity with CRM tools such as NetSuite, HubSpot, or Microsoft Dynamics preferred but not essential.
- Strong skills in Excel and other data tracking tools.
- Passionate about translating complex ideas into PowerPoint presentations
- Strong curiosity for how data can tell us stories about what is working well in our BD process and how we can improve.
- Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment and to tight deadlines.
