The Sales Planning Manager will provide the professional planning structure to the North American Sales Team – with a focus on building and developing Salesforce best practices as well as managing and tracking sales OpEx, managing forecasts, developing and tracking monthly sales targets, conducting pricing analysis and overall sales planning, creating and developing dealer communications, and setting tasks and tracking KPIs for the Sales team. Accountable for one or more medium to large sales projects that are of high complexity with a medium to large-sized team. Focuses on the creation of the project vision and planning documents and manages the implementation, reporting, and performance of the overall project with the expectation of delivering on time, within budget, and to scope. Builds and maintains strong customer relationships in order to achieve maximum customer satisfaction and retention. Consult customers on solution design and implementation. Sound Interesting? Here’s what you’ll do: Primary Duties and Responsibilities: Salesforce Development and Implementation Planning Champion the understanding, adoption, and strategic usage of Salesforce as a planning tool Continually train and teach sales team how to digitize account and territory management Integrate Salesforce into business and territory planning for Sales Team Ensure customer and product master data remains updated for accurate Salesforce reporting and usage Business Planning Forecast monthly and annual revenue targets by product line and customer Manage ongoing product line forecasting in collaboration with Operations manager Develop periodic pricing analysis and recommendations Manage and track overall sales operating expenses, overall and by territory, versus budget Develop and maintain customer price lists and internal costing/pricing files Generate and maintain yearly promotion and price calendars Business Performance Reporting Maintain and communication business revenue and distribution performance to all shareholders: daily, weekly, monthly, annually Develop, track, and communicate monthly sales targets Maintain a high level of data accuracy and integrity across systems and processes (Ex – Salesforce CRM, Order and Sales Reports, financial reporting etc.) Convert product and customer data into actionable information to drive Sales Generate detailed, actionable reports and distribute to Sales team Management of Shows and Events Manage trade and consumer show planning, logistics and coordination with agency partner, marketing and sales team Schedule and manage logistics for dealer sales events and internal sales meeting Do you qualify? Minimal Qualifications: Strategic-minded Highly experienced and competent with Salesforce CRM related to sales / account management Strong MS Office Suite skills (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, Teams) Ability to effectively prepare and present information and plans to internal stakeholders Highly organized and detail-oriented Advanced problem-solving and analytical skills Superior oral and written communication skills Ability to work independently and quickly adapt to changing business priorities Demonstrated ability to multitask and prioritize Excellent time management 5-10 years experience in sales or sales operations management preferably within consumer products industry Experience and Education Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Marketing, Finance, Management or related field preferred Working Conditions and Special Demands: Home office with modern office equipment: laptop, monitor(s), docking station, company cell phone Occasional travel required. Trips will include quarterly strategy meetings, trade shows, company events Anywhere within the lower 48 United States; remote work is acceptable Minimal Qualifications: Adept at working within well-structured matrix global organization, yet highly entrepreneurial North American business unit Team oriented - able to communicate professionally and effectively for end-goal outcome. Able to schedule multiple projects and activities for ongoing project status updates and meeting deadlines. Able to follow existing processes, yet willing and able to create new processes and/or improve existing ones. Self-motivated and problem-solving oriented with ability to address critical issues and propose solutions to challenges. Ambition, desire to be part of a high-performance marketing team where your execution of the specific detailed tasks of marketing initiatives are the key to successful campaigns. Experience and Education Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in business or related field Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint) Preference for experience with SAP, Shopify platform and Google Docs Ability to learn proprietary systems Strong organizational skills and ability to communicate effectively - both written and verbal 2-5 years in corporate or small business environment in marketing role The annual pay range for this position is $78,000 -$97,000 The pay offered for this role may be influenced by factors such as job location, scope of role, qualifications, education, experience, & complexity/specialization/scarcity of talent.
