### Fullstack mindset on an Engineering Platform team
Even if you specialize in either front-end or back-end, we want to ensure that our development is not done in isolation. We strive for all our engineers to think from our customers' perspective, integrating both front-end and back-end seamlessly to build great solutions for our business.
Playing this role on the Engineering Platform team means that you’re going to support Clutch’s engineering team growth by focusing on optimizing the software development life cycle and reducing friction for the developers and other platform clients.
Our main stacks are TypeScript (both back-end and front-end), React, Python, GitHub Actions, Terraform, Datadog, and AWS. We are not looking for an expert in all of these stacks, instead, we appreciate the ones with a background in some of them, and are willing to LEARN \o/
You'll be responsible for:
Write elegant, efficient, and testable code that is easy to maintain and debug
Cover code with tests and perform manual testing of features, while reviewing the work of colleagues
Understands the application lifecycle management and applies best practices on it
Works in collaboration with developers and other stakeholders to understand what they need from the platform and appreciate to optimize the flow for them
Work on the infrastructure part of the project, collaborating with Infrastructure Engineers
Takes care of configurations and processes documentation so stakeholders understand how to use the platform
As a true teammate, continuously improve the team’s processes, brainstorm ideas, and communicate statuses, and progress
Mentor team members, provide feedback, and continuously improve as a professional
Learn new concepts and technologies
Skillset you will bring:
Proficiency in one or more technical languages, preferably TypeScript (both back-end and front-end), React, Node.js, Python.
Familiarity with provisioning cloud resources, using IaC.
Experience in developing, testing, configuring and deploying workloads on the Cloud (preferably AWS).
Experience in debugging and troubleshooting issues on the SDLC.
Has experience with building CI/CD pipelines and developing automation solutions to help streamline processes
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to write clean, maintainable code.
Experience with either back-end or front-end development and a comprehensive understanding and vision of both areas (B2F vision).
Excellent English communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a remote-first environment.
