Position Summary:
The US base salary range for this full-time position is $175,000 - $220,000 + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location.

About this Role:
We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Director of Compliance Management Systems to join our company. In this pivotal role, you will lead the development and implementation of our compliance risk management system that is risk focused and aligns with our business objectives and regulatory requirements. You will work closely with executive leadership to identify, assess, and mitigate potential compliance risks to ensure the stability and growth of our innovative financial solutions. This position requires a proactive approach to risk management, exceptional analytical skills, and the ability to communicate complex risk concepts to diverse stakeholders.Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement comprehensive compliance risk management strategies and frameworks tailored to EarnIn’s risk profile.
- Identify, assess, and prioritize potential risks to the organization, including financial, operational, and strategic risks.
- Work with first line risk managers to implement a compliance management system.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate compliance risk management practices into business processes and decision-making.
- Monitor and analyze emerging compliance risks, industry trends, and regulatory changes to ensure proactive risk mitigation.
- Prepare and present compliance risk reports to executive leadership and provide insights and recommendations.
- Develop and manage a team of compliance professionals, fostering a high-performance culture.
- Continuously improve compliance risk management processes and tools to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field or commensurate work experience.
- Juris Doctor (JD) preferred (not required)
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in risk management, preferably within the FinTech or financial services industry.
- Proven track record of developing and implementing successful compliance management systems including but not limited to; policy and procedure writing, risk based monitoring and testing function, and development of the compliance risk assessment.
- Strong understanding of regulatory requirements and industry best practices related to compliance risk management.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret legal guidance and translate the guidance into control environments.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey compliance risk concepts to audiences who are not compliance professionals.
- Relevant professional designations preferred but not required; (e.g CRCM, CIA, CPA etc.)
- Understanding of relevant industry regulations, handbooks, bulletins, supervisory letters, (e.g., OCC Handbook; Compliance Management Systems, FRB SR-08-8, etc.)
