Life as a Cloud Software Engineer at CES:
As a Cloud Software Engineer at City IT, you will spearhead the development and maintenance of custom SDKs, CDKs, authentication services, and CLIs. Your expertise in TypeScript, AWS SDK, and AWS CDK will be instrumental in enhancing productivity and platform capabilities across the company. You'll collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, understand their unique needs, and deliver bespoke cloud solutions that drive measurable value.
\n- Create and maintain custom SDKs, CDKs, authentication services, and CLIs to boost developer productivity and platform capabilities.
- Develop and maintain React interfaces for team-owned web applications and shared React component libraries.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze requirements and deliver tailored cloud solutions.
- Establish and promote best development standards and practices within the team.
- Proficiency in TypeScript and developing React interfaces.
- Hands-on experience with AWS SDK and AWS CDK for serverless-first shared code and platforms.
- Familiarity with a variety of AWS services such as Lambda, ECS, Fargate, S3, DynamoDB, RDS, API Gateway, AppSync, Step Functions, EventBridge, IAM, Cognito, VPC, CloudFront, Route 53.
- Experience with Git/GitLab.
- Knowledge of various authentication methods.
- Experience integrating and utilizing AWS Bedrock Services.
- Interest or experience in developing conversational interfaces (chatbots, voice assistants).
- Interest or experience in context-specific data augmentation techniques for large language models.
