The Granicus Accounting team is a dynamic and high performing group that partners with both internal and external customers to drive success for the Company. We are looking for a motivated and effective leader to join our accounting team. The ideal candidate would be resourceful, flexible with requests, enjoys solving problems and is effective at managing relationships and communicating. This position will be based in Costa Rica.
\n- Assumes responsibility of month end close tasks include (but not limited to):
- Fixed asset, intangible, and deferred rent reconciliations
- Assist with accrual entries
- Assist with bank reconciliations
- Prepaid expense management and reconciliation
- Credit Card Administration and Reconciliation
- Monthly close journal entries
- Lease management
- Assist in month end close activities
- Oversee or support credit card usage to ensure receipts are available and appropriate recording of transactions with the general ledger
- Assist with various accounting activities for the integration of acquired companies
- Assist with multiple ad hoc projects specific to acquisitions
- Assist in supplying documentation in a yearly external audit
- Perform monthly balance sheet reconciliations
- You have 1-2 years of related experience in various accounting roles (AR, AP, general ledger, revenue, payroll)
- You have a BA/BS in Accounting or a related field
- You communicate well with team members and customers
- You have intermediate MS Office skills
- Experience with NetSuite and Salesforce is a plus
- Experience with balance sheet reconciliations
- You are detail-oriented, with exceptional problem-solving skill
- You have effective project management skills, including challenging the status quo and identifying needs to re-assess existing approaches/processes
- You are adaptable and enjoy working in a fast-paced dynamic environment
- You demonstrate an ability to meet deadlines without compromising accuracy
