We’ve recently raised our $10M Series A led by Australia's largest VC firm, Blackbird Ventures and we have an ambitious global go-to-market strategy starting with the US and Europe. Therefore we are growing our compliance team and are seeking a driven Compliance and Legal Associate to work on our Heidi product features, contributing to the development and advancement of the healthcare industry.

The Role: 

We are growing our compliance team and are seeking a driven Compliance Intern to work on our Heidi product features, contributing to the development and advancement of the healthcare industry.

As a Compliance Intern, you'll be instrumental in supporting our compliance team across multiple jurisdictions while gaining hands-on experience in regulatory research, policy drafting, and corporate hygiene checks. Your role will include contributing to contract drafting, assisting in conference planning, and collaborating with external consultants to ensure we adhere to data governance, security, and privacy regulations. You'll help the team meet compliance requirements, gaining exposure to startup operations and developing your legal and compliance skills in a fast-paced environment.

What You'll Do:

  • Support Compliance Team: Assist compliance activities across multiple jurisdictions and contribute to drafting and reviewing internal policies, contracts, and reports.

  • Regulatory Research: Help track regulatory changes and support compliance documentation.

  • Corporate Hygiene: Participate in corporate hygiene checks to ensure adherence to regulatory requirements.

  • Conference and Meeting Support: Organize compliance team attendance at conferences and assist in meeting preparation with regulators and insurers.

  • Contract Drafting Support: Assist in drafting, reviewing, and organizing contracts and agreements, helping ensure compliance with regulatory frameworks.

What We'll Look For:

  • Pursuing/completed a degree in law, health sciences, or related fields.

  • Keen interest in compliance, regulatory affairs, and legal work.

  • Strong communication and organizational skills.

  • Available to work 2-3 days a week.

  • Passion for learning and tackling challenging projects.

  • Eager to contribute to meaningful compliance work in a dynamic startup environment.

  • Ability to work collaboratively and bring fresh insights to the team.
