About the Role
As the HR Generalist, you will be responsible for all aspects of the recruitment and onboarding process. You will also provide administrative support for various People functions, including managing team member requests, processing transactions in HRIS, benefits administration, compliance and engagement programs and initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
Recruitment
- Responsible for all aspects of the recruitment process including job postings, pre-screening resumes, scheduling and participating in interviews, creating offer letters and completing background checks
- Utilize UKG Recruiting module to automate and manage recruitment workflows
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with candidates, while building a strategic pipeline for existing and future hiring needs
- Creatively source candidates for positions utilizing a variety of recruitment channels such as direct sourcing, referrals, networking and online job boards
- Deliver timely and effective customer service and support to internal Hiring Managers including techniques, coaching and best practices for interviewing to determine technical skills and cultural fit
- Facilitate positive and memorable candidate experiences with frequent and timely communication throughout the recruitment process
Onboarding and Orientation
- Ensure onboarding of all new hires is completed and in alignment with recruitment priorities and processes, while ensuring a seamless and memorable candidate-to-new-hire experience
- Utilize UKG Onboarding module to automate and manage new hire workflows
- Prepare and/or process new hire documents
- Ensure new team members are enrolled in the benefit program
People Administration
- Maintain the integrity and confidentiality of team member data in UKG Pro
- Serve as a point of contact for team member inquiries related to policies, procedures, and benefits administration
- Provide information and support regarding Company policies
- Maintain mandatory online and on-site labor posters
- Maintain the People mailbox and calendar, process employment verifications and create employment letters,
- Support team member engagement initiatives
- Ensure the payroll changes document is regularly updated and ready for each payroll processing with any items that will impact payroll/team members’ pay
- Follow-up with team members to ensure adherence to timelines
- Assist with People projects aimed at improving processes, implementing programs and policies
Qualifications
- At least (3+) years’ experience in a Human Resources role preferably in Talent Acquisition and HR Administration
- Post-secondary degree in Human Resources or related field
- Must be proficient in UKG Recruitment and Onboarding modules
- Proven ability to act as a team player in a collaborative environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build team member relationships at all levels
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion
- Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Critical thinking, attention to detail, proactive attitude, strong writing and oral communication skills
- Strong analytical, judgment and decision-making abilities
- Demonstration of strong time and work management skills with a progressive, people forward attitude
- Experience with Google workspace
