Innovetive Petcare is an Austin, TX based veterinary management company looking for a Veterinarian Recruiter to join our in-house talent acquisition team!
This is a 100% remote position. Travel is expected throughout the year to attend conferences, campus recruiting events, visit clinics, and team meetings.
The Veterinarian Recruiter will attract, engage, and hire Veterinarians for our practices located in Oklahoma, Texas, Arkansas, and Louisiana. You will be recognized as a thought-provoking leader within the talent acquisition function by providing creative solutions to our recruiting challenges. We are seeking an individual who will bring energy and expertise to our teams and support the organization by developing best practices.

Key Responsibilities:
- Partner with our Regional Operations Managers and hospital leadership teams to assess and support recruiting needs.
- Work closely with clinics to understand their culture and the nuances of their open positions.
- Develop the recruitment strategy for all assigned open clinician positions and communicate strategy with leadership teams.
- Report metrics, candidate activity, and useful data to leaders to further recruiting strategy and selection process discussions.
- Leverage online recruiting resources and in-house recruiting tools to promote open positions and source qualified candidates.
- Assist the hospital teams in writing, posting, and managing job ads in our ATS (Pinpoint) and externally to various career sites and college boards.
- Build and engage a strategic pipeline of active and passive Veterinarian candidates through CRM development (Salesforce) and other advanced search techniques, including social media, alumni and conference lists, extensive database and list mining, Boolean searching, referrals, etc.
- Establish long-term relationships with Veterinarians for potential employment opportunities now and in the future.
- Analyze the effectiveness of sourcing efforts through data analysis and reporting.
- Promote and manage the referral pipeline.
- Regularly conduct phone interviews with potential candidates.
- Negotiate offers with candidates and hospital leadership teams.
- Assist with drafting and sending offer letters.
- Share insightful industry key trends and best practices.
- Train, update, and maintain the Pinpoint's use by the Regional Operations Managers and hospital teams.
- Ensure candidate information is kept up to date and handled correctly in Pinpoint and Salesforce.
- Attend (virtual) career fairs.
- Travel and represent Innovetive Petcare at veterinary campus recruiting events and industry conferences.
Skills Knowledge and Expertise
- Bachelor's degree in human resources, psychology, or other relevant field.
- 3+ years of proven veterinary recruiting experience.
- Tech-savvy and proficient in Microsoft Office, Canva, applicant tracking systems, candidate management systems, and social medical platforms.
- Desire to advance practices and procedures forward.
- Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, verbal/written communication skills, and commitment to data integrity.
- Ability to work efficiently and independently and proven success in filling positions and driving recruitment efforts.
- Ability to manage a high volume of open requisitions and candidates.
- A "people person" who enjoys connecting with candidates and give personal feel; demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships.
- Sense of urgency in filling requisitions to support our hospital teams.
