We are seeking a proactive and experienced HR & Recruitment Specialist to manage HR operations across the U.S. and LATAM regions and support recruitment efforts. This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in sourcing top talent, managing HR processes, and fostering a compliant, engaging workplace culture.
HR & Recruitment Specialist, Job Responsibilities:
- Talent Sourcing: Utilize platforms such as Monster, Dice, LinkedIn, Behance, GitHub, Indeed, Computrabajo, and niche job boards to identify top technical and specialized talent.
- Pipeline Management: Build and maintain a pool of pre-qualified candidates for critical roles to meet current and future hiring needs.
- Candidate Assessment: Conduct structured interviews (competency-based, behavior-based, and video-based) to evaluate technical skills, cultural fit, and long-term potential.
- Collaboration: Partner with hiring managers to understand job requirements and provide strategic recommendations for effective hiring decisions.
- ATS Management: Manage applicant tracking systems (ATS) to streamline workflows and deliver an exceptional candidate experience.
- Onboarding and Compliance: Oversee onboarding processes, including legal paperwork, contracts, and compliance with labor laws.
- HR Administration: Manage key HR tasks such as onboarding, offboarding, HRIS updates, and maintaining accurate HR documentation to meet audit and compliance standards.
- Policy Adherence: Ensure workplace policies align with local labor laws and support a compliant, inclusive work environment.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in talent sourcing and HR operations, with a proven track record of managing end-to-end recruitment and HR processes.
- Proven experience in talent sourcing using platforms like Monster, Dice, LinkedIn, Behance, GitHub, and regional job boards (e.g., Computrabajo).
- Strong background in conducting structured interviews to assess technical abilities and cultural fit.
- Expertise in ATS management to optimize recruitment workflows and enhance candidate experience.
- Comprehensive knowledge of HR compliance in the U.S. and LATAM (specifically Mexico), including labor laws, tax regulations, and mandatory benefits.
- Hands-on experience managing HR operations such as onboarding, offboarding, and HRIS maintenance.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced startup environment with a proactive, solution-oriented mindset.
