Reporting to the Senior Manager, Ecommerce, you will elicit, analyze, specify, and validate the business requirements for key systems and customer experience enhancements. You will play a pivotal role in ensuring IT understands business needs while also overseeing the progress of LCBO website and mobile app development, testing, and search optimization strategies to enhance online discoverability and engagement. About the Role Collaborate with Ecommerce business leads to determine project scope and vision. Conduct data gathering and analysis to understand business strategy requirements, including SEO performance metrics, customer search behavior, and digital trends. Provide keyword research and strategies tailored to the organization’s objectives. Lead the assessment of the ecommerce business needs utilizing some structured requirements. Communicate SEO and ecommerce insights and recommendations to non-technical stakeholders in an accessible manner. Analyze, document and manage business requirements and changes to prioritize immediate business needs and integrate SEO best practices into business and technical requirements. Review test plans and monitors testing process to ensure that business results are adequately tested with minimal risk. Collaborate with IT and strategic Technology suppliers to look for and procure new technologies to optimize business processes. Map and document business processes and data flows. About You Post-secondary education in Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Systems or related program. Solid understanding of eCommerce business processes and IT Strategies. Knowledge of SEO best practices, search trends, and performance metrics to drive optimization. Strong relationship management, interpersonal, negotiation, and communication skills are required. Knowledge of techniques for budgeting, project estimation, planning and control are essential. Strong written and verbal communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills to help the business make good technology decisions. Advanced technical knowledge and experience with computer applications/software, related operating systems, and hardware acquired through formal education and/or progressively responsible experience in systems development. Familiar with SEO Performance Tools. Sound knowledge and experience in project management Waterfall and Agile development methods and practices. IIBA certification is an asset. Understanding of Google SEO fundamentals.
