Role Overview:
As a Shopify Developer, you’ll be responsible for using Shopify liquid code, and building out custom themes and Shopify apps.
Key Responsibilities:
- Configure and set up Shopify stores, including theme installation and customization to align with branding guidelines.
- Develop and modify Shopify themes using Liquid (Shopify's templating language), HTML, CSS, and JavaScript to create a unique and responsive storefront.
- Implement and customize third-party applications to enhance the e-commerce functionality, such as payment gateways, inventory management, and marketing tools.
- Optimize e-commerce websites for search engines through structured data, alt tags, meta tags, and best practices to improve visibility.
- Monitor the performance of the Shopify store, analyzing metrics to identify areas for improvement in speed, user experience, and conversion rates.
- Work closely with the design and marketing teams to ensure that branding and user experience are consistent across all channels.
- Provide ongoing support to resolve any issues related to the Shopify site, addressing bugs or technical challenges as they arise.
Requirements
- Proficient experience with Shopify.
- Excellent level of English.
- Experience using Liquid.
- Present a Shopify portfolio.
