About The Role


The Global HR Project Manager supports the Analytics Portfolio population globally and is an integral role within the AP HR Team. This individual sits on most people-related initiatives across the AP Business Unit and partners across the AP HR team, HR COEs, Corporate Functions, and Business Areas to ensure all dots are connected to drive our talent strategy forward. A key priority of this role is to keep the team organized, identify areas of improvement and work cross-functionally to improve processes, and ensure the team is set up for success with all of the moving pieces in our ongoing business transformation. This role will be a combination of coordinating strategic initiatives and programs within the team, representing the AP POV in cross-functional initiatives, supporting the Gracenote HR Team and partnering directly with senior leaders on strategic decisions.

Responsibilities
  • Drive the strategy and delivery of organization effectiveness (planning, development, and design), change management (actively communicating), and talent programs 
  • Drive team effectiveness and efficiency through leading regular weekly team meetings, tracking progress against key initiatives, supporting the setting/tracking/prioritization of team goals, and connecting the team with the broader HR team
  • Ensuring the team is aware and on top of all deadlines, timelines, and making progress in line with broader HR operational cadence
  • Own all HR Data and KPIs within the Gracenote organization - be an expert on data availability and sources, create regular data deliverables to the team to enable data-driven decision making
  • Ensure accurate data management by regularly auditing data, cleaning up errors, ensuring organizational changes are reflected, and engaging with HR and data partners to execute
  • Monitor overall effectiveness of HR programs and services by monitoring key talent metrics to identify and analyze People related issues, root causes, and possible levers for solutions
  • Represent the Gracenote HR team in defining and improving central HR processes, partnering cross-functionally across the organization
  • Drive the effectiveness of the HR delivery model ensuring consistency and optimization of HR processes by maintaining strong partnership with all key stakeholders in the HR model
  • Improve current processes and coordinate organizational procedures for optimized efficiency and productivity


Qualifications
  • Proven track record of taking the initiative and delivering results and driving change within an organization
  • Demonstrated ability to thrive in a rapidly growing, fast-changing, highly collaborative environment alongside experience working in a matrix environment
  • Broad change management skill set, combined with the ability to apply project management principles to deliver and support organizational change
  • Project or Program management experience preferred
  • Ability to work independently, be result-oriented and solution-centric, with experience in organizing and directing teams through planning and leading strategic initiatives
  • Well-developed customer and relationship management skills, including credibility and influencing skills.
  • Ability to remain tactful, calm, and persuasive in controversial and/or confrontational situations, as well as handle multiple competing priorities
  • Process driven and methodical in approach to implementing programs & HR solutions. 
  • Able to exercise sound judgment and discretion in matters of significance to the organization
  • Experience and knowledge in managing HR activities and resources; balancing conflicting priorities and handling ambiguities
  • Broad exposure to all HR functions including organizational development, change management, recruiting, workforce planning, compensation benefits
  • Experience managing up and working cross-functionally
  • Broad analytic skillset and experience with using data to drive decision making
  • Highly skilled in using Google Sheets, Microsoft Excel and other data software to create easy access to data, summary of insights and general efficiencies

A reasonable estimate of salary range for a new employee to be offered this role would be $50,000 - $185,000 which would be adjusted based on each employee's geographic location.  The position of each employee within a compensation range at Nielsen is dependent on several individual circumstances, such as experience, training, certifications and other business requirements/needs.
