Job Description
We are looking for a creative, organized, and proactive Digital Marketing Specialist – Social Media to join our digital marketing team. The ideal candidate will manage our social media presence across all applicable platforms all while using Emplifi for scheduling, analytics and social listening. This role prioritizes and requires solid communication skills, adaptability, and the ability to collaborate with stakeholders to deliver engaging and timely content.
Though this role’s primary focus will be the management and execution of organic social media, support in other digital marketing disciplines may be required. SMS marketing, paid ads, website chatbot support, email marketing, and/or landing page creation and support are other areas of support that may be needed.
Duties:
- End-to-end project management of organic social media digital marketing tactics from the briefing stage with stakeholders, through content creation, scheduling, deployment and measurement.
- Develop, schedule, and post engaging brand-aligned content for X, Facebook, and Instagram, using Emplifi.
- Monitor and manage social media channels, responding promptly to comments, mentions and direct messages, as needed and warranted. Communicating internally with stakeholders on social activity is required.
- Addressing high-priority or time-sensitive posts that require attention is critical to this role.
- Utilize social listening tools within Emplifi and Meltwater to identify trends, feedback, and opportunities to engage with the audience.
- Organize and facilitate monthly meetings with stakeholders to gather ideas, updates, insights and important messages for upcoming content.
- Design visually appealing graphics and multimedia content using Canva; collaborate internally with creative team to create specific assets, when needed.
- Create and maintain a content calendar to ensure consistent and strategic posting.
- Track and analyze social media performance using Emplifi and platform-native analytics tools; monitor competitor activity for continued strategic direction.
- Maintain your expertise in Emplifi, Facebook, Instagram, and X to update the digital team and stakeholders on best practices and new features that would be of benefit to our campaigns.
Secondary Accountabilities:
Though social media management is a significant component to this role, our successful candidate will be supporting the digital team with other digital marketing tasks. This includes strategic and tactical support with our SMS campaigns within SMS Magic; paid ads (Google Ads, Meta, X, and LinkedIn); and our site chat bot (Qualified). Working within our email tactics by assisting to build emails in Stripo and deploy in Pardot will be of particular interest. Experience with GA4 is required to understand how all tactics support website performance and analyze how all tactics drive strategy within the digital space.
This is a 12 month Contract.
Qualifications
Critical knowledge:
- Solid experience and knowledge of the following platforms are required:

Critical Experience:
- 2+ years of experience planning, scheduling and analyzing in an organic social media role.
Critical technical, professional and personal capabilities
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills. Being a fully remote role, communication is vital in this role.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines through project management best practices.
- Ability to effectively interact and collaborate across functional groups to achieve desired results; a natural at taking initiative and confident in coming forward with strategic ideas to propose to the team based on observed insights.
