Company Description
Welcome to the good side of tech 👋
You might have heard about us, but with a different name: Doctoralia. It all started 10 years ago, when we asked ourselves: is anyone in healthcare thinking about patients? We jumped in and we empowered patients by giving them access to leave and read reviews about their visit. We then provided doctors with the technology to manage bookings easily and save time, so they could devote themselves to what they always wanted: treating patients. And today is the day in which we ask you: will you join us in the next step of making the healthcare experience more human?
Docplanner at scale
We are leaders in 13 countries so far, and more than 90 million patients trust us every month. Almost 300.000 specialists believe in us and our product, and so do leading venture capital funds such as Point Nine Capital, Goldman Sachs Asset Management and One Peak Partners. And yet, employing over 2.700 people all over the globe, we managed to keep the startup-mindset we started with over 10 years ago.
Job Description
What you will do
You will be joining a small group of lawyers as part of Docplanner’s Global Legal Team, supporting them in improving the way in which the Legal & Compliance function operates across the group. You may be exposed to a wide array of different topics, including the handling and management of contracts, litigation proceedings, intellectual property protection strategies, labour processes, privacy matters, risk and governance projects, M&A / fundraising / expansions projects, and regulatory requirements.
Reporting to the group’s Chief Legal and Risk Officer, your main tasks may include:
work on the improvement of internal processes and procedures, to help the Global Legal Team meet the needs of the Docplanner business functions in the most cost-effective and time-efficient way possible;
support and improve contract and other documentation management processes;
take the lead on the adoption and/or maintenance of Docplanner’s legal tech stack (including GenAI-powered tools) to boost the Global Legal Team’s efficiency, by scoping the relevant needs, identifying the best solutions or products, and designing and managing the implementation and roll-out process;
support the management of the relationship with external suppliers for the Global Legal Team, and the management of the Global Legal Team budget;
project-manage key Global Legal Team initiatives and activities, including by coordinating other Docplanner and/or external stakeholders;
assist with document review exercises and drafting simple legal documents (primarily in English);
support the company’s lawyers and the rest of the senior management in the administrative aspects of M&A processes, fundraising efforts, and other strategic projects;
help the Global Legal Team own and manage the company’s IP portfolio; and

Qualifications
full professional proficiency and ability to work in English, written and spoken (additional European languages a strong plus);
experience in project management, product development, operations management or administration (experience in contract management or similar, legal & compliance-related operations a plus);
enthusiastic about making legal and compliance teams (or similar corporate functions) efficient operational machines;

quick decision making with good business judgement;
detail-oriented and well-organised, and not afraid to hold others accountable (regardless of role and seniority) when the required processes and procedures are not followed;
