In this role, you’ll transform the way we leverage our Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) solution – Ironclad – ensuring that users can easily execute and report on revenue and non-revenue agreement types as we continue to scale. As Legal Operations Manager, CLM you’ll be a cornerstone of the Legal Operations team and the company’s dedicated CLM process expert, partnering with a variety of internal stakeholders, including LRC, Sales, Revenue Operations, Deal Desk, Procurement, IT, Sales Enablement, and other internal operations leaders, as well as third-party service providers, to continuously drive scalable cross-functional process improvements and ensure our tools support them. You’ll use your broad understanding of in-house legal department practices, the CLM and analytics tools landscape, commercial contracting processes, customer service orientation, and diplomatic presence to drive improved value realization in the commercial contracting space by continuously improving our contracting practices and ability to leverage insights from those agreements. This is a rare chance to help shape the early days of our CLM journey on the Legal Operations team you always wanted to work for but didn’t know existed. This role will provide critical infrastructure that enables the LRC Department and all commercial contracting stakeholders to support the company’s continued growth and success.

- Own the Ironclad implementation across all agreement types, future-proofing our process and implementation by driving product strategy, roadmap curation, user story and requirements definition and prioritization, implementation, and enablement in support of healthy contracting and associated reporting use cases, both in proactive and responsive ways to ensure the solution remains in tune with current and future business needs
- Partner with cross-functional Enablement teammates, pursue ever-improving delivery of intuitive training and self-service content to improve CLM users’ ability to leverage Ironclad while moving towards their business goals with speed
- Translate between audiences who may not share obvious aligned interests, spanning technical, financial, legal, and other business audiences in every layer of the organization to help sharpen alignment on priorities and next steps on a wide variety of topics
- Stay abreast of and advise on potential impacts of new developments, industry trends, and best practices in the markets in which we operate, including remaining an active contributor to the Legal Operations community
- Provide timely advice and counsel to LRC and cross-functional leadership, deploying your project and program management experience to engage cross-functional teammates or third-party vendors to achieve desired business outcomes, turning ambiguity into opportunity and order
- Provide highly structured and recurring updates to key cross-functional team members and executives to ensure the effective operations of CLM and associated agreement workflows
What We Are Looking For:
- 8+ years of relevant contract management process and technology experience (gained ideally at a SaaS or other high-growth technology company) in roles of increasing responsibility
- 4+ years of demonstrated experience in business analysis and business solution design, including the delivery of outstanding process and requirement documentation, as well as the design of innovative business solutions in the legal and compliance space, preferably focused on commercial contracting
- Hands-on Ironclad CLM program ownership experience, including related certifications, as well as with Salesforce CRM and CPQ applications
- Able to operate autonomously while being a team player who brings a positive “can do” attitude to the workplace working collaboratively with other members of the LRC Department and with internal business partners
