The Role: Legal Program Manager
Oceans is seeking highly ambitious candidates in Sri Lanka to become Legal Program Managers.
Responsibilities
- Manage regulatory requirements for clinicians licensed in different states, including understanding state-specific regulations, implementing supervision agreements, and monitoring clinician compliance.
- Ensure compliance with legal requirements for the company's multiple legal entities, including managing registrations, annual report filings, and associated fees.
- Oversee the company's HIPAA compliance, including maintaining policies, conducting training, and ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements.
- Provide advisory and support services to the Head of Clinical Operations and Compliance, including reviewing contractor agreements, advising on regulatory compliance, and collaborating with legal counsel.
Requirements
- A law degree or equivalent legal background, with strong regulatory compliance knowledge and judgment.
- 5+ years of experience in compliance, legal program management, or risk management.
- Ability to read, interpret, and apply complex regulations and statutes.
- Strong organizational and project management skills to ensure compliance requirements are met on time.
- Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently, exercise sound judgment, and identify when to seek legal advice.
- Familiarity with HIPAA compliance and healthcare regulatory requirements.
