Our Client:
Our client is a consumer products eCommerce business located in the United States, which imports private label manufactured products to the United States and sells them online through Amazon, Walmart, Home Depot, Lowes, Wayfair, Overstock.com, and to a select group of broker dealers.
What you will do:
As an eCommerce specialist you will support the existing Amazon and other client account managers in their efforts to create, manage, and optimize product listings. This role requires several years of experience in eCommerce and a deep understanding of technical eCommerce; keyword research, page ranking, keyword indexing, competitor listing research, new competitor research, eCommerce reporting, and retailer audits.
Listing Management:
- Conduct keyword research to identify high-impact keywords.
- Optimize and create product listings for maximum visibility and sales.
- Write compelling, keyword-rich product descriptions and titles.
- Monitor and manage inventory levels to ensure product availability.
- Perform A/B testing on listings to determine the most effective titles, descriptions, and images.
- Work with various account managers to propose and implement listing changes such as changing content, infographics, and copy
- Optimized and monitored PPC advertising initiatives, campaign launching and optimization.
Competitor Research:
- Analyze sales data and competitor listings to refine strategies.
- Create pricing matrixes of similar competitor’s products to determine pricing sweet spots.
- Monitor competitor pricing and suggest pricing increases or decreases to ensure listing competitiveness.
- Identify new competition for existing products and product categories and present them to account managers monthly.
- Identify weak competitor product listings and attractive listing opportunities and present the case to drop pricing to obtain listings.
Reporting:
- Produced comprehensive reports on product sales, sessions, page views, sales trends, and seasonality, providing actionable insights and informing future decisions.
- Conducted in-depth analysis of Amazon Business Reports, including detailed page sales and traffic, to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Assist in the creation of weekly, monthly, and quarterly sales and ads reporting.
- 3+ years of experience in eCommerce, with a focus on product listing management and optimization.
- Proven experience with keyword research, A/B testing, and PPC advertising.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and generate actionable insights.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Familiarity with eCommerce platforms, particularly Amazon, and reporting tools.
- Experience in monitoring competitor pricing on Amazon to ensure the competitiveness of our listings
- Proven experience in monitoring and managing inventory levels on Amazon to ensure product availability.
- Skilled in reporting on eCommerce metrics, sales data, and performance insights.
