What you bring
- You have at least 3 years of experience in HR Operations and Benefits Data roles or similar positions.
- You have Data flows and Data analytics design experience.
- You have managed audits of complex multi-platform processes and large datasets.
- You have successfully led cross-functional projects.
- You are an expert in: SQL, google apps scripts and excel macros.
- You are able to quickly adapt to a fast-paced, international, scale-up environment.
- You are a manager of one
- You write and speak fluent English
- You have additional BI tools experience (nice to have)
- You have startup experience (nice to have)
- It's not required to have experience working remotely, but considered a plus (nice to have)
Key Responsibilities
- Review, document and improve data flows between systems used for benefits data management.
- Design and conduct audits of large datasets and implement data quality improvement initiatives.
- Develop dashboards and reporting tools as required to support reporting business needs.
- Identify automation and process improvement opportunities.
- Work closely and effectively with internal stakeholders and external vendors to ensure scalability, accuracy and data integrity.
- Lead on cross-functional collaboration projects to minimize quality issues.
- Increase process effectiveness and provide greater value to Remote’s customers and employees.
- Be able to go from “scout to scale” and actually start things up and get things done

At first glance our salary bands seem quite wide - here is some context. At Remote we have international operations and a globally distributed workforce. We use geo ranges to consider geographic pay differentials as part of our global compensation strategy to remain competitive in various markets while we hiring globally.
The base salary range for this full-time position is $32,800 to $46,150. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level and location, and our job titles may span more than one career level. The actual base pay for the successful candidate in this role is dependent upon many factors such as location, transferable or job-related skills, work experience, relevant training, business needs, and market demands. The base salary range may be subject to change.
