Position Summary:
We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Paralegal to provide comprehensive support to our legal team. The ideal candidate will assist with file management, legal research, document preparation, and client communication while ensuring high standards of accuracy and efficiency. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:
Manage files, including opening, closing, and electronic filing.
Assist lawyers in preparing firm articles on new legal developments.
Collate and prepare documents for commercial matters.
Draft legal documents and correspondence with speed and accuracy.
Send emails to clients providing fee estimates, requesting funds in trust, and following up on payments.
Attend to the lodgement of filing fees and other matters with courts and tribunals.
Conduct searches, including company, title, and PPSR searches.
Prepare ASIC forms and other standard documents.
Manage diaries and calendars for legal staff.
Answer phone calls and assist with client enquiries.
Provide ad hoc general administrative duties as needed.
Qualifications:
At least 2 years’ experience as a paralegal or similar role.
Understanding in commercial law is an advantage
Positive and helpful attitude with a strong work ethic.
Proactive and adaptable with excellent organizational and communication skills.
Ability to multi-task, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
Strong ability to build relationships and collaborate with senior practitioners.
High attention to detail and ability to produce accurate, high-quality work.
Proficient in Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams, etc.).
Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
