As a Technical Recruiting Manager, you will report directly to the Head of Recruiting and lead our efforts to recruit software engineering and other technical talent. You will start as a player-coach who contributes directly to our hiring as a full-cycle recruiter while managing a growing team of technical recruiting staff and serving as key point of contact for a variety of technical hiring managers. You will attune to our exceptionally high hiring standards and take ownership for meeting hiring goals across a significant share of Voleon's employee base. \n- Partner closely with a variety of technical hiring managers to support their growth efforts, in some cases acting as key point of contact and search owner and in others as a point of escalation
- Manage, track, and help organize the efforts of recruiting team members to ensure we’re meeting our hiring goals and exceptionally high quality standards in a sustainable and diligent manner
- Directly source a rich pipeline of rarified technical talent and manage the offer process with candidates on an assigned portfolio of searches
- Own the candidate experience and make it a positive and memorable journey, even for candidates who do not join us
- Maintain and improve a high-performance recruiting process tuned to delivering outstanding quality of hire in an efficient, organized manner
- Develop and share institutional knowledge / insight around talent markets and effective recruiting practices and content for VoleonLead various projects to improve our recruiting efforts overall
- At least eight years of talent acquisition experience with demonstrated expertise in sourcing and full-cycle recruitment of top technical talent
- At least two years of experience managing recruiting staff
- Excellent client management skills with a history of developing customized, consultative relationships with a variety of stakeholders
- Track record of making substantial contributions at the team level, including mentorship, process improvement, and contributions to institutional knowledge and recruiting content
- Eagerness to work with diverse, highly talented teams
- Bachelor’s degree (a plus)
- Authorization to work in the United States
The base salary range for this position is $175,000 to $190,000 in the location(s) of this posting. Individual salaries are determined through a variety of factors, including, but not limited to, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and geography. Base salary does not include other forms of total compensation such as bonus compensation and other benefits. Our benefits package includes medical, dental and vision coverage, life and AD&D insurance, 20 days of paid time off, 9 sick days, and a 401(k) plan with a company match.
