The opportunity as DTC Video Editor (Motion+Editing)

As a DTC Video Editor (Motion+Editing), you’ll work closely with their Creative Lead to deliver high-performing DTC video ads and engaging organic video content for social media, using both editing and motion design skills. You'll play a pivotal role in creating attention-grabbing videos that communicate their brand’s value and connect with their audience across platforms.

Your work will span two key areas: editing DTC ads for platforms like Meta, TikTok, YouTube, and Google, and creating organic social media videos tailored for TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube Shorts. Both areas will involve analyzing performance, testing creative ideas, and continuously iterating to drive results and engagement.

This is a full-time, fully remote role, and you’ll work asynchronously in the timezone of your choice.

Must-haves

  • 5+ years of proven experience as a video editor/motion designer

  • You have a strong portfolio showcasing Meta ads for direct response & e-commerce brands.

  • Experience editing videos for organic social platforms (TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube Shorts).

  • Expert in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, and Photoshop.

  • Experience with motion design, storytelling, color grading, and sound editing.

  • You have a strong track record of analyzing video performance metrics and A/B testing to improve video content.

  • You are creative, highly organized, detail-oriented, a great communicator and are excited by the opportunity to build something new and impactful.

Nice to Have

  • You’ve previously worked at a DTC company in the healthcare industry.

  • You have a Bachelor’s degree in Communication or a related field.

  • Compensation: $25k-$32k/yr total compensation (salary + equity)
