The Role
We are looking for someone who has experience in a digital agency, is well-versed in project management processes, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and relishes taking complete ownership of programs from beginning to end. You will partner with our technical and creative teams to ensure exceptional delivery of clients' needs. You may also work closely with our client services, paid, earned & owned media, digital intelligence, and executive leadership teams during every phase of our programs.
As a Senior Technical Digital Project Manager at Wpromote, you will manage multiple projects of various sizes simultaneously. Within this environment, you will work with technical development resources, designers and other earned media team members to set, measure, and achieve goals targeted at delivering high-quality services for clients. The anticipated annual salary for this role will range from $100,000 - $120,000, based on a variety of factors unique to each candidate, including skill set, years and depth of experience, education and certifications, competitive benchmarks, scope of responsibility, market dynamics, geographic location, and the respective state’s salary threshold for exempt employees. At Wpromote, pay ranges are subject to change and are based on specific market medians for similar jobs according to third-party salary benchmark surveys. Individual pay within that range can vary due to skills, experience, and available budget. The total compensation package for this role will include benefits (listed above).
*This position may be performed remotely in most states within the US, with some exclusions

- An internal and external point-of-contact for program operations
- Responsible for the operational efficiency of your program and the programs of any direct reports, if applicable
- Running internal and client-facing meetings as needed, taking detailed action items & disseminating meeting recaps
- Responsible for planning, managing, monitoring, and controlling the execution of digital initiatives from beginning to end, in partnership with channel team leadership
- Managing program scope, identifying, defining, and communicating risks and change requests, before taking appropriate action to minimize the impact on the program's success
- Focused on the details of tasks, deadlines & accuracy of deliverables
- Developing and maintaining detailed program documentation such as timelines and project trackers
- Creating workflows, training teams, and managing project tasks & deliverables using various project management software
- Ensuring client programs are fully utilizing and adhering to all appropriate PMO templates and processes
- A generator and owner of key PMO department initiatives
- The co-owner and partner with client service counterparts for account success
- Managing and mentoring junior-level project managers, as appropriate
- The owner of continuous process improvement for your program(s)
- 5+ years of project management experience in an interactive agency, managing large-scale, multi-faceted digital programs
- 3+ years of technical project management experience specializing in website redesign projects
- Certified SCRUMMaster or PMI-ACP (Agile Certified Practitioner) certification required
- Once eligible, PMP Certification is expected within one year of hire. Wpromote covers the training and exam fees for PMP Certification
- Extensive experience building and maintaining detailed project management plans focused on the delivery of mid-sized to large website redesign projects
- Skills required to oversee, train, and mentor jr. level project managers, if applicable
- Advanced abilities in using Asana and JIRA or similar task management softwares
- Experience working autonomously and being part of a team
- Proficiency in documenting, tracking, and following up on many simultaneous tasks
- Experience authoring essential project documentation such as project management plans, change, issue and risk logs, and status reports
- Strong understanding of the typical workflows for the digital creative process, paid media marketing, earned media marketing, analytics, and client management
- Ability to develop rapport with, and successfully communicate and collaborate with senior-level clients and team members
- Ability to pinpoint program pain-points, identify areas in need of process improvement, and own the full process improvement lifecycle (identification, documentation, training, process adherence)
- Strong risk management skills & ability to minimize the impact on program success
- Ability to identify the need for, and implementation of complex, cross-channel workflows
- Strong change management skills (preparing and supporting teams, establishing the steps necessary for change, and monitoring post-change activities)
- Experience working with third-party vendors and partner agencies
- Strong skills in leadership, problem-solving, negotiating, influencing, prioritization, decision-making, and conflict resolution
