Job Description:
The Controller will be responsible for overseeing all financial and accounting activities, ensuring the company's financial health and compliance with all regulations. This role involves managing financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and strategic financial planning.
Responsibilities:
- Record day-to-day financial transactions, including purchases, sales, Manage the preparation of financial statements and reports.
- Ensure compliance with accounting policies and procedures.
- Develop and implement financial controls and processes.
- Monitor cash flow and manage banking relationships.
- Lead the annual budgeting and forecasting processes.
- Provide financial analysis and insights to support decision-making.
- Manage the preparation of tax returns and ensure compliance with tax regulations.
- Coordinate audits and liaise with external auditors.
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a financial management role.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
- Proficient in Quickbooks.
- CPA designation is strongly preferred.
- Proven experience in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and regulations.
- Experience with financial systems and software.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Bonus if you have experience with Amazon for reporting books.
