Overview of the Role:
The role involves conducting data analysis for digital marketing and e-commerce initiatives using SQL, Power BI, and Excel. Key responsibilities include transforming complex data into clear, actionable insights and presenting these findings to internal stakeholders. Additionally, you will investigate data trends and address marketing team queries, such as identifying reasons for a decrease in Average Order Value (AOV) and analyzing which customer cohorts are contributing to a decline in retention rates.
Responsibilities:
- Data analysis for digital marketing and ecommerce using SQL, Power BI, Excel
- Turn data into digestible insights and clearly present to internal stakeholders
- Investigate data and support marketing team's queries such as "Why are we seeing AOV decrease?", "What cohorts are leading to our retention curve decreasing?"
- At least 2 years of experience with eCommerce Marketing Data
- Has an understanding of metrics like AOV, CAC, LTV, etc
- Expert in SQL, Business Intelligence tools, Microsoft Excel
- Good communication skills and can distill complex concepts into easily understood explanations
