The HR Specialist supports 2-3 HR Business Partners with their assigned client group(s), responding to questions and inquiries as well as coordinating across the People, Payroll, and Employee Relations teams. The role coordinates timelines, program communications, and system administration of talent management programs (e.g. interim reviews, engagement survey, annual reviews, and quarterly checkpoints). In addition, the HR Specialist oversees the offboarding process for all departing employees from their assigned client groups to ensure a seamless employee experience.
Primary Duties:
\n- Provide guidance to employees around general HR related questions, coordinating with other teams as appropriate
- Provide coaching to people managers to impact the engagement, development, and retention of talent
- Utilize data to derive insights on people trends to recommend, implement, and manage projects and programs
- In partnership with the broader People Team and function leads, develop career pathways and mapping; proactively assess team and manager development needs, make recommendations, and implement appropriate solutions
- Manage performance review, quarterly checkpoint, and engagement survey templates in CultureAmp in partnership with the Director
- Coordinate timelines and communications within CultureAmp, email, Slack, etc.
- Track completion rates and share data with the team around quarterly checkpoint and interim review completion and scores
- Manage the offboarding process & reference guides for employees and managers; coordinate with Employee Relations for involuntary terminations
- Administer exit interviews. Report quarterly to internal People teams and business lanes on common themes and action plans.
- Oversee the employment change communication and coordination, ensuring a seamless transmission of finalized employment changes from People Managers to People Business Partners to People Operations for processing
- Partner with stakeholders to obtain People Team approval for employee requests to temporarily work abroad, ensuring adherence to company security policies.
- Manage company-wide employee recognition programs (i.e. monthly High Fives; collaborating with SVP Business Operations quarterly on Presidents Choice Award)
- Maintain and update employee data in UKG, CultureAmp, or other systems of reference to ensure a high degree of accuracy and confidentiality.
- Bachelor’s degree and 4+ years of human resources generalist or people operations experience
- Demonstrated analytical thinking, problem solving, and decision making skills. Critical thinker with success in developing innovative solutions to business issues.
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
- Proven ability to manage multiple, complex issues and prioritize projects concurrently
- PHR or SHRM-CP certification
- Healthcare or Technology industry experience
